S&V is located near Berlin and was found in 2007.
The company has a strong commitment to research and development of
novel biomaterials based on hyaluronic acid and aims to leverage team
expertise with nature’s intelligence to successfully deliver innovative
medical devices, which cover unmet needs of patients and health care
providers.
The company´s medical solutions add value to the medical aesthetics, wound care and general surgery markets.
In S&V´s business division aesthetic dermatology, hyaluronic acid
based dermal fillers as well as other skin care products are developed
and manufactured. All of the hyaluronic acid gels (Dermal Implants) are
manufactured in the company’s own clean room production plant in
accordance with highest quality requirements.
The current product portfolio for medical devices
includes 11 CE-certified dermal filler types that allow the physician to
specifically address the individual needs of the patients and to choose
the most suitable product, from rejuvenation to the treatment of fine
lines and wrinkles as well as deep folds and strong volume losses.
Another company business division is specialized in the development and manufacturing of biomaterials for application and use in the human body. All biomaterials manufactured by S&V undergo comprehensive toxicological testing.
S&V Technologies GmbH runs modern research laboratories occupying an area of more than 200 square meters in Hennigsdorf next to Berlin, where new biomaterials and biocompatible polymers are synthesized and tested to meet the company’s high quality requirements. Furthermore, all raw materials are tested for purity and compliance with the defined specifications in the company’s own analytical laboratory.
S&V Technologies GmbH is organized and certified in accordance with EN ISO 13485, runs state-of-the-art laboratories and includes two different business divisions run by the CEO Dr. Soo Whan Choi, a published expert in the chemistry of biomaterials with a strong background in research and development:
